There are a variety of project management methodologies and processes available. Most of these appear to be based on common sense. But many of them are impractical to apply in the management of real world projects. In real world projects there are often significant constraints that make following academic project management methodologies difficult. Instead project managers must often use 'stealth' project management processes. These pages outline some of the critical activities and processes that are necessary to keep a project on track.
