Not many active organisations for women in I.T. in Australia, the [FITT](http://www.fitt.org.au/?ref=katecarruthers.com) mission is to:  

- Encourage more women into the ICT industry
- Encourage women in the industry to achieve their personal aspirations
- Assist women to better understand ICT
