I had the pleasure of speaking, along with [Karen Ganschow](http://twitter.com/kegans?ref=katecarruthers.com) from Telstra, at the [FITT CeBIT lunch](http://www.fitt.org.au/events.html?ref=katecarruthers.com#cebit%5F2009) today in Sydney. We had a great turnout and there were even a few men in attendance.

It's [FITT's 20th anniversary](http://www.computerworld.com.au/article/279586/it%5Fgirls%5Fstill%5Ffitt%5Fafter%5F20%5Fyears%5Fhistory%5Fpictures?ref=katecarruthers.com) this year - a big milestone for a volunteer based organisation that was working to encourage women into ICT careers before it was trendy.
