It's not really about bunnies, Easter is the most important holiday in the Christian calendar & celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This holiday also has earlier origins in Pagan festivals, such as those of the Goddess Eostre, celebrating the end of winter & arrival of spring. BTW
